Terms of Service

Last updated 6 August 2026

These terms govern your use of RigVerse, including the mobile app, website, and related services. By using RigVerse, you agree to these terms.

Your account

What RigVerse provides

RigVerse helps musicians track music gear, store photos and ownership details, request admin-reviewed valuation estimates, ask and answer public gear questions, add friends, message friends, create alert preferences, upload music-related content, and organize bands with schedules, notes, sheets, files, and set lists.

Marketplace selling, buying, and trading features are not currently active. If those features are enabled later, additional marketplace rules may apply.

Valuations are estimates

RigVerse values are estimates based on available sale information. They are not appraisals and are not a guarantee of sale price. Actual prices vary with condition, demand, location, shipping, item history and timing. Do not rely on a RigVerse estimate as the sole basis for buying, selling or insuring an instrument.

AI and admin-reviewed processing

RigVerse does not directly auto-answer valuation requests or community questions for users. Requests wait for an admin to process. If an admin uses AI to help answer a question or estimate gear, the result is still informational only and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date.

Content you post

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant us the licence needed to host, store, copy, process, display, and transmit it inside RigVerse to the people you have chosen to share it with. This includes gear photos, public questions, answers, audio clips, messages, band notes, sheet music, files, schedules, and set lists.

Do not post content that:

Report anything that breaks these rules from within the app. We may remove content and suspend accounts that do.

Friends, messages, and bands

RigVerse messaging is designed for friends and band members. You may not use friend invitations, messages, or band spaces to harass users, scrape information, spam people, impersonate someone, or distribute content you do not have permission to share.

Band owners and admins are responsible for managing membership and shared materials in their band spaces. Only upload sheet music, recordings, charts, screenshots, and other files that you have the right to share with that group.

Alerts

Alerts and alert preferences are convenience features. RigVerse does not guarantee that every price drop, listing, arrival, or matching event will be found or delivered on time.

Copyright complaints

If you believe something on RigVerse infringes your copyright, email copyright@rigverse.app with the work concerned, where it appears, and your contact details.

Privacy and account deletion

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and retain information. You can delete your account from inside the app. Some information may remain temporarily in backups, logs, or where required by law.

App stores

If you downloaded RigVerse through Apple, your use is also subject to Apple's applicable App Store terms. Apple is not responsible for RigVerse, support, maintenance, claims, or third-party disputes related to the app.

Availability

RigVerse is provided as is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and features may change, be delayed, or be removed.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe an account violates these terms, creates security risk, infringes rights, abuses other users, or uses the service unlawfully.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, RigVerse is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made on the basis of estimated valuations, AI/admin-assisted suggestions, community answers, alerts, or user-generated content.

Changes

We will announce material changes in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use RigVerse after that means accepting the new terms.
